Hello, I’m George, a freelance Sound and Technician. My expertise lies primarily in sound engineering, including mixing for live bands, comedians, and small theatre productions. Additionally, I possess lighting skills, allowing me to busk events or program and operate musicals. Beyond sound and lighting, I have a range of experience the theatre world, including follow spotting and general stage crew duties. PAT Testing and Asset Management
As a certified PAT Tester I am happy to provide PAT Testing services for your venue or company.
I can also provide asset management for you. Over the course of 2024 I provided The Princes Theatre, Clacton with my PAT Testing and Asset Management Services, going through their entire equipment stock and testing it all, making sure it had an asset number and PT logo sticker on it.

Whist working as a member of our team, George took on the major responsibility of updating our asset database throughout 2024. This involved a detailed review of every asset—cleaning them, removing outdated logos, and applying our new branding. His thoroughness and commitment ensured that each item was brought up to standard.
In August, George achieved certification in PAT Testing. He immediately put this qualification to use by testing all electrical equipment during the asset audit, ensuring everything complied with safety regulations. His work also extended to the bar and kitchen equipment, which he added to the system and tested with the same level of care and professionalism.
Thanks to George’s efforts, all of our equipment is now clearly marked with the theatre’s logo, a unique asset number, and an up-to-date PAT test sticker. This has significantly improved our asset tracking, especially when external companies bring in their own gear, helping us avoid any confusion or loss.
